Stole this thread idea from CTSubie. It's plain and simple. What did you do to your VW today. Everything from simply washing it to full on motor swaps. Lets hear them.

Picked this up 4 days ago. After the second day of driving it, I realized how slow it is. But not looking to upgrade the engine (not much out there yet anyway), just coilovers and wheels and Ill be set. Its a 2.Slow manual trans.

I know most of us are VW guys but it doesn't take much to appreciate how good he was at what he did. RIP to a legend in the automotive world. The company I work for is currently making the oil pans for the new Shelby 1000 and I hope we can to his name just on the last Shelby he was a part of.

Can someone tell me what the light is on the bottom of the bumper and if it is available for mk2's?

Finally decided to let her loose from easy driving after 1.5 months only to discover insane Turbo lag and Max 5psi. Did some investiging and found the n112 unplugged and this nonsense:

Mind you one bolt was loose and the other completely missing. The bolts and gap I found after I already took it back to the shop and he thought the Turbo housing had cracked. They also mentioned they never had to disconnect the Turbo which seemed shady to me.

I was just watching the preview of the new movie haywire and noticed a black mk2 on snowflakes, this is usually a common trend for me and movies. I always notice VW's in movies. Does anyone else do this?

For some reason I cant get to the DK home page. It keeps saying "certificates are not valid". Any one else getting this?

Well, seeing as it's Spring and the animals are out in full force, I figured I'd make them the topic for May's POTM. It can be any animal (no insects) in any setting you want. It could be your cat in a window or a bear in a stream. Do your best and capture those AMINALS! :D
